Crone leads an exploration of bodies whose strengths are sometimes overlooked. She was inspired by a belly dancer still performing well into her 80s. That dancer was beautiful, commanding, and empowering. I left the performance thinking about the wonderful diversity of bodies and the strength that each one possesses.

To honor that dancer, Crone depicts a belly dancer gracefully performing. She is entwined with tree characteristics to showcase the strength of her body.
